Living life through adventures & badassary (& naps)

Erin HannonWelcome!

Whattup, thanks for stopping by!

I am Erin, some call me Easy E (not due to sexual tendencies, but because I love to rap, although not very good at it)

This is my first blog (didn’t most bloggers start in like early 2000s?!). I am typically a private person which is why it took me so long to start a blog (until you get to know me, then it’s word vomit). But here goes nothin!

I love to laugh, please make me laugh (cuz chronic illness can suck this out of me at times). I am obsessed with all things nature – trees, the sea, mountains, all of it. I love good/authentic people.

I live a mostly non-toxic life. As I learn more through my healing adventures I make more changes. But don’t judge me if you see me doing/consuming something that’s not 100% non-toxic cuz I am trying to not focus so much energy on that perfection part.

I wanted to start a blog to organize my thoughts, etc around my recent health adventures. I hope to someday be able to help people see that they can still live life with chronic illness. I remember how lonely and scary it is to receive a diagnosis and wonder if you will ever live a “normal” life…then all of a sudden the thoughts can get dark and scary quickly.

I have 2 goals with this blog.

1. To help encourage people to keep the adventure alive, no matter what fashion.
2. To hold myself accountable to keep the adventure alive.

My health in a nutshell:

• I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s in Aug of 2015.
• Then with Lyme and Mold Toxicity in March 2021 (probably the root cause of my Hashimoto’s).
• I am currently working on a year long intense detox protocol, and holy eff!

2022 non-toxic faves

I did "30 days of Non-toxic Faves" in my Instagram Stories in January 2022.  They are saved to a highlight but I thought I would write them up for easy access AND for those that don’t have IG.  In my blog post about Reducing Toxins…

The Roadtrip That Started it All

Life Lessons, by: Chronic Illness

What Lyme and Hashimoto’s have taught me There are so many cliche things I can say about having a chronic illness.  But it’s so dang true!  I have learned more in the past 7 years than I have in all the other years I have been alive…

Kids…or No Kids… it’s Okay

It’s okay to not be a parent.  I feel like there is so much pressure on us to have kids.  And quite frankly it makes everything weird. My husband and I don’t have kids.  We wanted kids, but we don’t…

MOVEMENT for me these days

A Moldy Situation – Part 2

And Then There Was Lyme….
